More About This
---

Remember Woodstock? Well, remember at least what it was supposed to be like? This is Canary Wharf's attempt at bringing a bit of Woodstock to good old London town. The whole thing is being run by four businessmen (who must be f-in LOADED!) in aid of comic relief. They've managed to book 7 bands (listed below) who will start on stage at 7pm and all do at least 1 hit from Woodstock.

Tickets can get quite pricey. The majority of tickets are 20 quid, but a fancy mezzanine table can cost a whooping £800! You do get some champagne and dinner though! Every single penny will go towards charity, so make sure this is on your to-do-list.

As promised here are the list of bands:

No Quarter

Not Another No Scope

Sweet Thursday

Open Mind

Just Jules

Longspoon

Sidewinders

The night is all set to be a cracker. To accompany the bands and make sure everybody does really have a merry time, there will be circus style attractions and comedians on hand to provide a good old laugh.

I might check this out. Sounds like it is for a good cause, but in all honesty I haven't heard of any of those bands. I think this type of thing would have been a must-do if it was in Summer and outside. Still worth knowing about thou. Those businessmen must have some serious cash!
