And South Pole. Not content with being named after just one hemisphere, this place went for both! The North is more chilled, sit back, unwind with a table, drink and bit of company. The music is loud enough to vibe to, but not loud enough to shut off all forms of communication. The South however, is a different story. This is the real jewel in this places crown. Immediately, you feel a little chill as you walk down stairs, then the music kicks in and you join the swarm of people dancing along to the resident DJ. This place is cool for a good night out for people who don’t live too far away. That’s why it makes YNG LDN.
This place near enough does everything for all times of the day. Just add a hotel room and you actually wouldn’t need to leave. Up, up stairs is the restaurant, serving a wide-range of dishes for a reasonable price of around £10 including drink. During the day, the North Pole is a “Piano Bar” for those who like a paper, a beer, and a bit of “me” time. But during the night the club kicks in, £5 at the door, dress code pretty casual, and aside from a few wear and tears, this place is pretty worth a trip and the fiver for entry.
