Jazz is one of those music scenes most youngsters today don't "get". The Jazz Cafe is probably one of the best places in London to..."get" it. The environment, people, music, energy is exactly what you thought a Jazz bar would be. You see a Jazz bar isn't just about the music, or the drink, or the toe-tapping, it's about the attitude. You don't go in thinking "right tonight I'm on the pull". You go there feeling to chill, feeling to enjoy your drink rather than get it down you, to listen to the music, not just hear it. We don't normally involve bias in the articles we do at YNG LDN, but because the Jazz Cafe offers something a little bit different, so will we. The Jazz Cafe have a wide collection of really cool nights and acts, they recently had American big-shot Musiq Soulchild, so it is worth checking out what's on offer from their website if your into this scene or think there is other tastes to life worth sampling.
