The first, and certainly most colourful Sushi restaurants in town, Yo! Offer affordable and (mostly) fresh sushi. We’d say, if you’re a sushi beginner, go here. I have personally been going there for 7 years and still they ask, “Have you ever been here before?” my point exactly. The staff are more than ready to explain that bit extra to you if you are still unsure and have been dragged in their by your sushi connoisseur friend and only plan on eating rice and cooked chicken, whilst asking as you walk in “The chicken is cooked right?”
Try to make most of the deals they do, especially if you are still studying. Sign up to their newsletter on their website and often enough they send you through a good deal that makes taking a trip there definitely worth it. They don’t bombard you with junk mail either. It is a little bit confusing why they sell T-Shirts, which they might try and mention in the email, but once you’ve skipped that part, they normally do a half-price type deal once you’ve spent over a certain amount (normally about 20 quid).
