Koko, not Coco, common mistake, is one of the most popular and talked about venues in town. They near enough always have a major headliner lined up. Koko, formally Camden Palace, lives in an authentically styled interior, clad to its routes, yet “tarted” up (in a good way!) for today’s modern and cool crowds.
Friday’s night down at Koko are home to NME, creatively named “Club NME”. They normally get a “known” name performer here, sprinkled with a few up and coming (possibly been up and coming for the last 10 years) DJ’s and acts, to joyously dance the night away with. All in all, Koko attracts a young crowd with some major music names and old school nights.
