Literally, for those that haven’t been there or heard about it, a bar made of ice! This place is certainly cool. Absolut (you know the drink) own here and live here (Eskimo’s). This place is innovation to the core. On arrival and after handing over your money, you will be presented with your new outfit...a cape! Although this is not a superhero type cape, which made me very disappointed, but is one that will keep you warm. Pretty simple really, Ice Bar = Keep warm, so I guess it works really.
Once in, all dressed up and ready to go, you would have just entered through a special chamber type thingy, designed to keep the ice cool. Your eyes will light up after noticing the amazing looking bar and ski-ready dressed people serving drinks. The drinks list is pretty much Vodka, a splash more of Vodka, and go on then, a little more Vodka, if you insist. Absolut serve they’re own, but they do have non-alcoholic drinks as well. The drinks can get pricey, quickly. At around 6 quid a pop (half that for non-alcoholic) you probably don’t want too many. You do only have 45 minutes inside though, so spend them wisely.
Ironically enough we think the Ice Bar is hot.
