More About This
---

The Renaissance Rooms are a forever-changing breed of club. Previously they were home to Torture Gardens, but this time, they’ve stepped up their retro approach and introduced Roller Disco. Self-proclaimed as “THE hotspot for clubbing on wheels” you can’t argue with them. You do have to wonder however how much competition they actually do have though! Roller Disco is certainly an entertaining night out (to say the least) if you’re new to Roller Skating.

But don’t let that stop you, because after a few drinks, who cares if you can skate!? They do provide skating assistants for those of us who are just useless as skating (not me, uh uh), which is a wonderful, I mean, good addition. It’s not all about being on your wheels anyway; they do have a “breather” section on the first floor where you can rest your spinning head and tired toes. But the main arena is where the action is. The place thumps to classic 70’s and 80’s beats, all confirming the fact that you are indeed in a 70’s teen American movie, taking your high school sweetheart on a “date”.
