More About This
---

Also known as "that really flipping hot Japanese Mustard" Wasabi is one of the most popular places in London to grab some cheap take-away sushi. Wasabi have quite a few little chic restaurant/outlet places around town, most of them without tables and chairs. The whole concept, which has been around for a while now, is to just grab a bunch of your favourite sushi, all of which are sold individually and wrapped in clear packaging to stay fresh, for a fraction of the price compared to places like Yo! and Itsu.

The sushi quality does suffer a bit though. Not to the point of "Supermarket sushi" but still not as good as Itsu, or even Yo!. If you're on your way home from work or Uni, and you suddenly remember as you're entering the Underground "dude, you haven't eat yet", Wasabi is probably perfect for this situation. You can grab as much or as little as you want, and quickly get back en-route.

The sushi quality isn't always "meh", as you'll find it if your a fan of Sashimi, which they can really pull off. They sell pre-packed sets which are best picked up once put down (if you follow) and are really capable of causing a major smile.

Wasabi isn't all about Sushi however. They do sell quite a few hot dishes, including Chicken Yakitori, Teriyaki, vegetarian options and a few different rices. These cost around £3 and really can fill you up. A good meal on its own we thinks.
