More About This
---

The London Dungeon is the only true place to see the "folk tails" of old. On the outside it might appear to be the "trying to be scary...but really quite funny" attraction (and it is) but if you think about it, those stories really did actually happen. And if that isn't a scary thought...you're friends with Michael Myers.

Once inside you'll embark on a walking based tour on London's (and other areas) criminal masterminds. You'll get to experience Jack the Ripper at work and also see Mrs Lovetts highly recommended pie shop. Everything is performed by live actors and actresses and lucky people might even get cherry picked to help, erm, tell the stories. The lazy among you even have a boat ride to look forward to. Although don't be expecting Tidal Wave at Thorpe park, more Dragon Falls at Chessington without the Falls.

The London Dungeons does also have some moments that make you consider how "unscared" you really are and the whole place is themed really bloody well. If you're from London and you haven't been here, you might end up questioning how much of a Londoner you really are when a tourist is telling you how good something down the road is. It is a must visit for residents and visitors alike, and a definite if you have even a slight interest in horror films. But if you enjoyed the Saw films, this might be a little tame. Try Transylvania instead.

Actually didn't really like the London Dungeons. I wanted to see some freaky shiznit, but ended just walking around getting lectured by a bunch of people in costumes. First room lecture....next room lecture, and on and on. They need to bring in some kind of creepy feel to the place. Make you feel like your being scared. Clowns running around in the background laughing at you or something as you walk from place to place in the dark. That would shi-t me up!

I had to go though, just to check it out. But unless they bring some real "OMFG" worthy moments, I'm not going back.
