More About This
---

The biggest Ferris wheel in the world is now one of the most iconic figures of this great city (large town - more of a community word...don't you think!?). People travel from all over the world to see it, New York, Sydney, Rome, Brixton. On New Years eve, it is easily the most impressive fireworks display of the year, with millions gathering along the Thames to see the sky light up. The attraction itself appeals to everyone from every age group, and with a turning speed that would make a snail proud, you really do get to see all of this city (town) in all its glory.

The London Eye itself was initially put down by most Londoner's, feeling it was a total waste of money, alongside the recently reinvigorating Dome. Nearly 10 years on however, the London Eye can be easily seen as the symbol of a great era of national and global growth. It'll continue to stand tall for many more years to come and is a must see attraction for all who visit and live here...seriously though, everytime you look up!

It's hard to imagine LDN without this icon now. I like the colour scheme thing it has going on - red on valentines day etc - and it goes so slowly that even people that don't like heights can appreciate the views without that dizzying feeling
