You might have heard...you might not have heard, but Wii Sports Resort (or 2...whatever) has officially (which means jack-shiznit in the gaming world) been announced for a UK release date of July this year. This sequel to the much loved Wii Sports will be set completely on a beach resort, perfect for when you've had a long day working, studying or...jammin, and you just want to unwind. Those familiar enough with the Wii and are also lucky enough to have Wii Fit will recognise the island Resort is set on from their time running on their stationary board, on their routine jogging trip. 

The really cool news is this version of Sports doesn't just have 4 games, which are fun, don't get me wrong, but when 10 games are announced for the new version, it's hard not to get excited (not sexually). So far the details of only 3 have been leaked, which always happens to mean "released on purpose" anyway. You'll be able to play Frisbee with a pet dog, go Jet Skiing around the Islands waters and also face off with your hombres in a Sword Fight. The Resort pack will also come with an all new fantastically amazing control pad (can you tell we're not a gaming website!?) and a, wait for it, Wii Remote Jacket! As long as the Japanese think of a jacket in the same way I do, this is beginning to sound pret-ty amazing.
